Boletins de Imprensa - Sunday Morning Dreams
Sunday Morning Dreams
Very early Sunday morning I must awake if I am going to watch my heros compete in the ultimate sporting event on earth. As an North American child I am complete classified as nuts to raise out of bed on a Sunday morning to pay attention to this sporting event(s) half way across the globe that favours more European children dreams then North American children but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My dream is to become one of the greats of this mega sport and while it seem a far off dreams for a child; let alone one from Canada where hockey dominates the dreams of many. My eyes are set for formula one.
What sets my wild dreams to drive one of these cars one day? The drivers; current and past? The mega complexity of such a powerful and fast cars? This I can not answer today why but my path has taken me in such a direction that I am heading straight for the top series after many years of dreaming the dream.
I don’t follow the conventional path to where I am today as I am Canadian but the story will be similar. We all start our dreams in front of the television watching. We then drive our parents crazy enough to allow us to start driving Karts from here our direction is completely unknown until we are scouted.
For most this means simple moving up the ranks into single seat racing series in the likes of Formula Fords and Formula Renault but one thing is fore sure for most drivers following their dream is a stop in Formula 3.
Here I am half way around the World at the tender age of 18 years old and I am about to embark on the most difficult aspect of my life to date as I start my career as an Formula 3 racing car driver and continue my steps as race car driver towards my Sunday morning dream.
How the story unfolds I am don’t know as this is only the beginning but the journey will be filled with up and downs which any form of racing brings but I will continue to live my Sunday morning dream until my goals are reacted.
The story is just starting to be written ....
The Dream continues....
Most must of thought that I had complete dropped off the face of the earth at the tend age of 18 as I packed my bags and started to live my dream towards F1 future. My first and completely unexpected stop seen me spend majority of the past two season...
