Boletins de Imprensa - Formula 1 interview
Formula 1 interview
The world of racing is an exciting world full of twists and turns. And most of us love to watch the world's greatest drivers challenge one and other on the race track. But even though these drivers are adored by millions it's rare to get an insight in what they are thinking and feeling. And with the season reaching its mid-way point we decided to approach the top ten drivers in the driver rankings for Formula 1, Indycar and Nascar. Though we didn't hear back from every driver, we received a reply from a good deal of them. We're very grateful to all the managers and drivers who replied and made these press releases possible.
In this press release we'll look at the exciting world of Formula 1 and the drivers that sit at the very center of it all.
We asked all the drivers two questions.
Question 1: Are you pleased with how the season has gone for you so far?
Question 2: What is your goal for this season?
These were their replies.

Philippe de Saint-Germain Jr (Red Bull Racing Vaillante F1)
Currently ranked 1st at 176 points
At this point, everything is going pretty well for RB Vaillante F1.
We had no particular goal for this season expect trying to get as much point as possible. It is unexpected for PSG to be number one at this point because it was the goal for NEXT season. This season was kind of intermediate for us, just preparing a ROCKET for the next three seasons ...
We'll try to do our best to maintain our rank but it will be hard. Next season it will be kind of EASY ...
Andre Acarini (Odissea Martini Racing)
Currently ranked 2nd at 124 points
So..Honestly I'm not satisfied about this season, the 1st place is far and many people can get this one! My goal is the same like other seasons: the 1st place, will be hard but for sure I'm gonna spend all my energy for catch it!
Alex Botta (Odissea Martini Racing)
Currently ranked 6th at 82 points
Not a good season till now for me and OMR but of course we can't always win, a lot of teams and pilots improved, so this season it's harder but even funnier.
My goal is to bring enough points to my team to win the championship.
and of course to reach the best ending position I can as pilot.
Stanisław Bum (Mercedes AMG F1)
Currently ranked 7th at 81 points
Well.. I'm satisfied and a little bit disappointed so far. We have better car comparing to other teams, than it was previous season. However, we made few mistakes as a driver and as a team. We won 2 races, but we lost in Monaco, where we started from 1st row. In Austria bad decision in qualifying session cost us only 6th place in race. Lack of mechanics placed us out of TOP10 in China. So, this season is up and down do far. I do hope we race better in following races.
Goal is to be as high as possible. For sure as a team we can fight for title and it's our goal. Similar situation in driver standings. We need to fight for 1st places as long as it's possible.
Ivaan Szabo (McLaren Racing)
Currently ranked 8th at 45 points
We are competitive, McLaren is a great team. Of course I had difficulties, but I am a regular point scorer. So I am quite satisfied with this season.
I have to improve my performance, I would like to be faster during racing conditions. My personal goals are to finish in the top 8 at the end of the season, and It would be really great to get a podium finish. :)
Antoine Ayrton Poucette (Red Bull Racing Vaillante F1)
Currently ranked 10th at 40 points
I am I think the oldest Formula one driver and one of the biggest partner of Red Bull. It's means that I am very happy to drive one of the best formula one from the beginning of this serie. My partners are at the top level and we do a super job together.
My goal is to be a good second driver to help Saint-Germain to win and withdraw a maximum of points to our Italians friends, Acarini and Botta. Mercedes is not well managed and this team is not our priority!
Mārcis Jr. Freiverts (McLaren Racing)
Currently ranked 11th at 36 points
Looking back at last season and comparing, this season has been good and pleased so far. Could be better, but it is better than last season in short.
Will try to keep 10th position in F1 driver championship and with good races climb up a few places.

There is a lot to talk about. The battle between Red Bull and OMR will surely continue through the second half of the season. And many fans must wonder if it is possible for reigning champion Andre to fight back against a strong Red Bull. Perhaps with the aid of Alex Botta?
Though the Jordan drivers did not offer a reply, surely they are also in the mix, claiming the 3rd and 4th place in the overall ranking.
Mercedes is fourth in the overall team ranking and not far behind, but according to Antoine, they are not a threat. Surely Paolo and Stanisław will want to prove him wrong.
With four teams dominating McLaren appears to be the 'best of the rest'. Both Ivaan and Marcis seem to be hungry for good results. A reminder to Red Bull and the other top teams that the rest of the pack is always just a few seconds behind.
There is nu room for mistakes as season 11 continues. We wish everyone the best of luck. And we hope that they'll continue to provide us with amazing races for many more years to come.
(Next we'll look at the exciting world of Nascar and later still we'll explore the world of Indycar)
