Hungarian Trophy makes Bennett feel unwelcome
Drummond Bennett was a surprise appearance at Donington Park today, We managed to catch up with him for a quick interview.
Reporter: Hi Drummond, we didn't expect to see you here today, are you driving?
DB: Ha, no not today. I was earlier, in the Hungarian trophy, but it finished earlier than expected so I thought I'd be a spectator for a while.
Reporter: what happened?
DB: Well I entered the competition thinking it would be nice to race against a driver of Francis calibre, but we are now three races in and after three first lap crashes, I've yet to complete a lap!
Reporter:That's a shame, so you think you'll be able to turn it around?
DB: I hope so, that's why I'm here really, the guys in the rookie series give everything each and everyrime they are on track, its very motivating.
Reporter: I saw you talking to Wheeler a moment ago, have you been to see anyone else?
DB: yeah I was down congratulating Brandon (Knight) too. I know both these guys and hope to maybe race against them in the future.
Reporter: perhaps in the Formula3 American series?
DB: well that's the future, and I need to focus on the present, I'm still trying to get 3rd in the polish series, and of course I have to get away from being dead last in the Hungarian Trophy.
Reporter: well good luck with that Drummond and thankyou for your time.
DB: no problem. Rage on man!
Reporter: an interesting man. Certainly the speculation around his future, and that of Knight and Wheeler has got many people curious. We will have to wait and find out what happens.
