Aston Martin Fan Championship - Season 6
With the sixth edition of the “Aston Martin Fan Championship” having just ended, it is time to summarize what happened.
Felipe Campolargo won his sixth title (obtaining 7 wins, 5 poles and 10 podiums), Cupertino Jarbas came 2nd (with 3 wins, 2 poles and 8 podiums), Aston Martin Fan Cup newcomer Oiva Hamays came 3rd (1 pole and 6 podiums) and Vladimir Romadov came 4th (1 pole and 1 podium). In 5th place came Bernardino Campolargo (1 podium), Visvaldis Cels in 6th (1 pole and 1 podium), Ash Bee finished 7th (1 podium). Behind was Yolanda Carrapatelo, in 9th was Ziemowit Chmielewski II (1 podium) and Noé Nogueira closed the top 10.
Nádia Portocarrero continues her position as the most successful driver at Aston Martin-FC (with 6 titles), she leads with 4693 points, 79 podiums, 104 top 5s, 132 top 10s and 29 laps faster. But, Mauricio Cruz leads the most pole positions with 39! Felipe Campolargo now leads with the most victories with 31.
In the Under-23s the championship was won this time by António Mateus with 5 poles and 5 victories ahead of Miguel Llorens and Kelemen Szegedi.
It is the 1st title for António. The legend of the under-23s continues to be Tomás Gois Rocha with 3 titles. 2nd place in the classification went to Miguel Llorens with 3 poles and 3 victories. Kelemen Szegedi finished in 3rd place with 1 pole and 1 victory. Right behind came Rafa da Costa. The young Fabrício Zé Cruz finished in 5th place, just ahead of Ulisses Jarbas. In 7th place was Nico Morbidelli, in 8th place the also young Silke Rasmussen and Frederic Duchateau in 9th place. Gabriel Santaquilani closed the top 10 (like last season).
In the records table of the Under-23s, Felipe Campolargo continues with the most points scored (2730), the most victories (26), the most podiums (45), the most top 5 finishes (56) and the most fastest laps (34). Tomás Góis Rocha is still the driver with the most top 10s (59) and the most titles (3).
Next season will António get his second title in the under-23 category, or will Miguel or Kelemen get their first title? In the main class, will Felipe get his 7th title? Or will another driver be able to dethrone him?
As usual, Aston Martin will once again distribute 100 coins to the top 5 in the under-23 classification. Here is the distribution:
