Persberichten - Slow start for Team Phantom Power in the Indy Int Series

Slow start for Team Phantom Power in the Indy Int Series

After storming to 15 pole positions and 7 wins out of 16 events, the season has gotten off to a very slow start with Vanderpuije and Team Phantom Power qualifying out of the top 6 for the first time since entering the series.

"Last year was a solid year, our qualifying performances were massive and we took the title, but there was room for improvement from us. This year we should be stronger with more experience under our belt, but we haven't been delivering properly. It's been hard so far, the competition has improved big time. Luckily the season is very long and it's not easy to make a points breakaway. We've got time to up our game, put our heads down and pull everything together."

Vanderpuije and his team aim to win the title again, but will face much stiffer competition from constantly improving rivals.
