Persberichten - Driver Brady, Team Owner Blue Host First Press Conference of the Season and Address Several Aspects of Season, Competetion in NASC Gold Cup and Future

Driver Brady, Team Owner Blue Host First Press Conference of the Season and Address Several Aspects of Season, Competetion in NASC Gold Cup and Future

For the first team since the NASC Gold Cup race at Phoenix at the tail end of Season 31, driver Brad Brady addressed the media, as did owner and former driver Mike Blue. The typically candid driver had no trouble expressing his opinion of his performance in Season 32. "yeah, it's better than it was at this point last season. Instead of tearing all my cars up, I'm only tearing half of them up. I hope the boss is pleased." Brady said, referencing his two DNFs compared to the five he had at this point, "Seriously though, I feel more comfortable in the car and it shows in the slightly better results and increased consistency." He said.

When asked about recent driver remarks regarding his aggressiveness and his driver call outs, Brady had this to say- "Look, I don't single people out. I don't have any grudges or whatever some people think I do. I just don't like getting wrecked. That's all I was saying. I'm not going to get taken advantage of. I simply stated I was going to race every one how they race me. I do not take back what I said. I've had far less incidents on the track since then and I greatly appreciate that. I will apologize if I came across as if I was singling anyone out." Brady stated. When asked about expectations, both driver and owner were on the same page. "This is better than I expected." Blue said, to which Brady added. "We're racing the best stock car racing has to offer. If you expect to come in and run circles around Kathy, Ludek, Alan and guys that have been racing hard in the series for seasons, you should get your head examined cause you're not thinking right. This is a highly competitive series it's for the lead, 14th or 35th, there is hard racing everywhere. This is, in my opinion, the pinnacle and if you can't accept running midpack in your first two seasons, you do not belong here." Brady said. When asked about future plans, Blue kept mum. "We're focused on moving this team forward whatever it takes. Whether that means changing manufacturers or even taking a step back into a lower series for a season or two, it doesn't matter. We want to win against the best of the best." Blue stated. The team sits 22nd in the NASC Gold Cup standing after 7 of 36 races and rolls off 22nd at the next race.
