Audi of course thanked Foyt and explained that it was a tough choice. Foyt said he understood and he believed they made the Right choice for Audi. Thanked Audi for the opportunity.

Texas Motorsports Realizing the chances may be small entered Foyt Indy in case not teams needed his service for season 30 in F1. And off to the telephones to attempt to find an F1 ride for season 30.
