MRC F1 - Team-by-team - A new engine, a new era?

Hello MRC F1 Fans! S22 is here and a new engine comes along with it! Can anyone challenge Red Bull? Who will be the surprise team? A comprehensive team-by-team analysis with each team season's goal.

RED BULL

S21 Standing: 1st
S22 goal: 1st
Team Red Bull remains the team to beat. Great car, great drivers with reigning champion Grosjean leading the way with Montferrand at his side.

JORDAN

S21 Standing: 2nd
S22 goal: 1st
Jordan GP goal is to challenge for the title after finishing 2nd in S21. The car is promising but not fully developed. Former champion Novikov has a new teammate with ex-Lamborghini driver Rocco Wolf replacing Zatacka.

MCLAREN

S21 Standing: 3rd
S22 goal: 1st
McLaren had a slightly disappointing S21 with it's 3rd place finish. But the S22 is looking like a real threat to Red Bull's throne. Veteran Swiss champion Rapido and Spanish driver Garcia are anxious for the challenge.

WILLIAMS

S21 Standing: 4th
S22 goal: Top 4
Williams was the surprise package of S21 with it's top speed. They won't be a surprise this time around as they try to close the gap from the top 3. Finnish driver Allas has a new teammate with rookie french driver Briand joining the team.

SEMPRE SENNA

S21 Standing: 5th
S22 goal: Prepare for S23
Sempre Senna 5th place in S21 was a very good result. Unfortunatly Sempre Senna was unable to prepare a good car for S22 and will endure a rough season. Polish drivers Maurer and Berger will remain with the team as they will be looking to rebound next season.

LAMBORGHINI

S21 Standing: 6th
S22 goal: Avoid a dramatic step back.
Lamborghini 6th place in S21 proved the team was in the right track. An underdeveloped engine will be tough to overcome and they will need to step it up to avoid a dramatic turn for the worse. Italian Cannas remains with the team and German driver Winter joins the team for his 1st F1 season.

BMW

S21 Standing: 7th
S22 goal: Stay with the pack
BMW achieved it's first ever win in S21 and that alone was a successful season. The S22 engine doesn't look as good but if they are able to evolve IT, look for them fighting for points. New recruit Mihaylov joins the team from rival Williams with Kalinin returning for another season.

AUDI

S21 Standing: 8th
S22 goal: Challenge for the top 6
After finishing 8th in S21 Audi is looking to narrow the gap from the top5. The S22 car looks like a good car but other teams seem to be very close. Veteran driver Galimov remains with the team and rookie driver Miller takes the 2nd seat.

WAR

S21 Standing: 9th
S22 goal: Challenge for the top 6
S21 's 9th place was exactly what was expected from WAR. In S22 the team is looking to close the gap from the top 6 and it looks like they are closer. The driver line-up keeps Da Costa and has Brazilian Macieira taking the retired Lamy spot in the other car.

LKR

S21 Standing: 10th
S22 goal: Has S23 started yet?
One of the good surprises of S21 with it's 8 points, LKR won't be able to repeat the feat. The team decided to field a less than competitive car in hopes of a major comeback next season. Veteran F1 driver Bremser returns to F1 as does Nummi in the other car.

PORSCHE

S21 Standing: 11th
S22 goal: Return to the spotlight
Despite not scoring a single point in S21, Porsche took a major step forward in it's performance. The S22 car looks like it can challenge for the top 8 with it's massive top speed. Latvian Atrumins takes a sit next to Finnish driver Sinisalo as team's drivers.

FORD

S21 Standing: 12th
S22 goal: Keep closing the gap
Leaving the bottom 3 was a major achieviement from Ford in S21. In S22 that remains a goal but the main objective is close the gap performance wise. For that Wayne remains with the team and Austrian Woeger takes over in the other car.

MERCEDES

S21 Standing: 13th
S22 goal: Score some points and return to respectability
S21 was difficult as the team tried to build a good car for S22. The S22 does look much improved with a fantastic top speed and they could surprise some teams. After enduring a rough season the team retained its drivers for S22 with promising Beskov and veteran Petrov.

TRABANT

S21 Standing: 14th
S22 goal: Avoid the bottom 2
In S21 Trabant continued to struggle but able to avoid last place. S22 doesn't look much better but the team hopes it can built momentum for S23. The driver line-up remains unchanged with Sahat and Sollberg in the driver's seats.

FERRARI

S21 Standing: 15th
S22 goal: Score points and stability.
A horrid S21 saw Ferrari drop all the way to last place in the standings. For S22 Ferrari built a very good car and it has legitimate chances of scoring a few points. A new driver line-up is on board with 2 rookie drivers in Slovakian Sklenarikova and Czech Nebesky.
