NEWS: Season 16 is here!

NEWS: Season 16 is here!

Hi guys, I've got news of some in-game changes for you!

Improved Race Strategy Options
On the race strategy page we have now added more options that affect your driver's in-race performance - Let's look at them in more detail.

New Driving Style Options

Standing Start Aggression:
Standing Start Aggression determines how aggressively a driver will use the throttle from the start. High aggression can result in a faster start to the race but also brings a higher probability of mistakes and loosing time.

Overtaking Aggression & Blocking Aggression:
Overtaking and blocking aggression is used when a driver is fighting for position. Higher aggression helps to overtake or block an opponent more often although it increases the risk of contact. Both overtaking and blocking aggression has a small influence on your driver as it can have a big influence on the drivers in front.

Safety Car Reaction Options

Postpone Pitstop:
When slowed down by the Safety Car, fuel consumption and tyre wear is significantly lowered. It is a good idea to set-up the Postpone Pitstop parameter for such cases. This parameter determines how many laps will be added to the scheduled pitstop in order to get the most from the current set of tyres. Be very, very careful with this parameter!!!

Race Strategy Options

Push Before Pitstop:
The Push Before Pitstop parameter determines how many laps before a scheduled pitstop your driver will push in order to gain an advantage during an opponents pitstop. It increases the risk by 10 points to a maximum of 100 during these laps.

Race Goals Options

Target Position & Main Rival:
Race strategy options allow changing a driver's driving style during a race based on the situation and current driver position. If the position during the race is worse than the Target Position or worse than the position of a driver's Main Rival, 10 points will be added to the Risky Drive setting to the maximum of 100. A driver can also let his faster teammate pass him.

Allow Teammate to Overtake:
Contrary to what some may think, this option does not mean you will automatically move over and let your teammate pass if he/she is behind you. It only means that the risk of an accident is minimized and your teammate's overtaking attempt has a greater chance of success
** This option only relates to Formula 1 at this moment in time, but in future will be an option elsewhere too.

Indy Car Update:
There are now 2 chassis choices available in the Indy series

We hope you all have a great Season 16!
