DB Cleanup Bug
Today we experienced data missing in some race reports. Races results have not been affected but in some races you are not able to see the race progress and also lap by lap. Race broadcast for this races is not available too. The problem came up after we changed our DB cleanup script. We are very sorry. More details in the article.
Due to DB size restriction on our server we need to clean the unnecessary data on regular basis. The system is supposed to keep all the data for single and quick races which are less than 21 days old. For all series races the system keeps all data for this season races, and deletes only data from previous season which are more than 21 days old.
Unfortunatelly due to the bug in the script we deleted data which were not supposed to be deleted.
Season series whicha re most important should be ok, but some custom series might be affected.
I can assure you that all results were calculated correctly, and you were able to see also the progress and lap data before the cleanup script this morning.
