Rookie driver is rocking at Nasc!

Young Brazilian driver Roger Relâmpago has just made it into history at Dover Speedway for this week's Nasc Gold Cup race Dover Delaware 400!

Piloting #71 W.A.R. Lightning Racing Toyota Camry, the rising star has just set the first-ever qualify record with that chassis for the series.

This was Relâmpago's 5th pole position (the 2nd at Dover at that), and setting the record was surprising for a driver that just premiered in Nasc this season and is holding the 2nd position in season standings with 7 races to go.

"I'd like to thank the team for the great and awesome work they've been doing this season" Relampago stated in the press conference after the qualify session. "This was a very special moment for me as a driver, to have my name up there among these legendary drivers here, but they've been delivering their best all the way along, working on a chassis that's everyone give a weird look, but we are proving it has it's worthness too"
