Paziņojumi presei - Szabo and Freiverts sign contracts for Season 10

Szabo and Freiverts sign contracts for Season 10

McLaren came forward with their contract extension after the Monaco race. Both drivers will drive for McLaren in the upcoming season, this means that McLaren does not change their driver setup.

“We are pleased to go with these two promising drivers for another season”, McLaren manager Invictus told us. “We are pleased with how the season is going and our drivers are a major factor in this.”

McLaren currently sits in 5th position in Constructors standings and especially young Hungarian Szabo is enjoying a great season. He is currently 5th in drivers ranking, getting a podium finish and first champagne in Barcelona and is in front of well-known pilots like Grandi, Janeks and Poucette. Young latvian Freiverts is currently under a string of bad luck which only got him 4 points until now.

Both McLaren drivers will go for their next points in the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal.
