NEWS: New F1 Commissioner & other News

Hi guys, some news regarding the new F1 Commissioner, an F1 employee update and details of MRC's new Tumblr account!

Ok, before we get to the meat of today's news I must first inform you all that Debik is on vacation for 3 weeks.
He will return on the 10th September.

In the meantime, if you have any issues that you normally direct to Debik, you should now send them to Arskap until the boss returns! ;)

New F1 Commissioner
It is with great pleasure that I can announce that the new F1 Commissioner taking daftkrft's place from the start of season 15 is PaleRider!

We have every confidence in PaleRider to do a great job following in the giant footsteps daftkrft leaves behind.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who put yourselves forward for this role.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank daftkrft for the brilliant job he done while in the office of the F1 Commissioner. Next season sees him taking on a new challenge and on behalf of the entire MRC team we would like to wish him the very best of luck going forward!

F1 Employee Update
From the 14th September 2015 every manager who is a shareholder or a driver of an F1 team can from the 14th Septmeber make their own employees available to transfer over to the F1 team.

This enables shareholders to help out their F1 team in a tangible, real way.

The shareholder/driver will have the option to make their employee available for transfer and then it is up to the F1 team to take up the option.
Note that the F1 team will pay the remaining salary of an employee once transferred to the team.

Once an employee transfers from a driver to an F1 team, it cannot be reversed.
The transfer is one way ONLY.

MRC Tumblr Blog
A couple of months ago we decided to set up a blog for the game.
This will give players a platform to:

• Keep up to date with all the latest news and what it means

• Hear other manager’s opinions of multiple things

• Get involved and give your opinion by re-blogging a post you want to talk about and give your take on the issue

• Become a guess blogger and writing a piece for the blog

The blog is on Tumblr and can be found by either clicking on the Tumblr media link at the bottom of every page or by following the link: Tumblr Blog

So far there have been posts giving an introduction to the game and some of the news stories that have come out recently. But this is only the beginning! There will be updates on series like F1 and A1. There will be shout-outs to driver achievements for drivers of all abilities. There will be posts giving advice and tips. And there will be more posts talking about the latest changes in the game and what they mean for us.

Our current blogger has had to give his notice due to personal reasons.
However he has offered to keep the blog running for a few weeks until we find a replacement.
