Worried About Ray
In a week that has seen 23 year old Ray Striver take several wins across numerous disciplines, it was nought but a painful irony that the day it all goes wrong is the day it needed to go right as - for the second week running - Striver throws it away from 2nd place, on the final lap of his F2 Race 1 at Long Beach.
"We looked, again, to take a huge haul of points from all of our major competitors, instead we drop to 11th in some sort of ironic kick in the teeth". said an irate Adamski, who is clearly losing patience with his driver losing his cool on the big stage.
"I've been here before, we're at the point now where we can safely call it quits on this season. If we make it out with 6th and make our money back, i won't be happy, but it will be a start".
This shambles comes just hours after Striver won his first ever bike race, in only his 4th Moto appearance, despite never having an ounce of bike training...
"We'll do what we can starting Race 2 from 11th. But whatever, the damage is done. We sought out a single goal when Ray entered as a rookie, to become my second #1 Ranked UK driver after the success of Guy Wellington... We can probably give up on that now too i suppose. 2nd only to Jonas Gudas who is going from strength to strength in F2 World pulling in great results every week. What do we get, a great result pending, before inevitably getting screwed over.
Patience certainly wearing thin between manager and driver in the British privateer outfit.
