Back Off Track

It's no secret that veteran manager Adamski has missed the grit and grime of the WRS world, hanging up his muddy boots and pace notes in favour of the comparative glitz and glamour of track racing in recent seasons.

With rider Lee Nova and F4/F3 hopeful Hayden Vale on the books, Adamski looked to tread new ground, and put some old haunts to bed, having never taken the Superb Formula or Indy titles that he came oh-so-close to claiming with legend of the track and UK Hall of Famer, Mack Zaggro... However, tyre blankets and a jet-set lifestyle were just not what this manager craved any longer as we repeatedly saw his driver's turning up for events in his absence, with very little management actually taking place - causing a stir among the maybe 4 people internationally that actually care, wondering if, after twelve literal real world years, we were due an announcement that would spell the retirement of one of the games longest standing managers.

Alas, we finally have word from the awkward Englishman, who comes back fresh off the heels of a complete shredding of his office back in Wales, rebranded, new driver signed, and ready to kick up dirt once again.

"I was bored" said the 30-something Brit, "I adore the Formula world, but having such a remarkable run of quadruple WRS championship seasons on the bounce with Wynn Hunter, dropping back to the track days just didn't sit right, sometimes you gotta steer left to turn right, so here we are, back once again (with the renegade master)"

Adamski got straight to work unceremoniously sending 20 year old Nations Cup representative Hayden Vale (ironically suffering the same fate as his namesake and former driver Noah "Epic" Vale) packing after several mediocre seasons, and announcing up-and-coming dirt specialist; 18 year old Artemis Clyde to drive a #15 chassis for the re-established ViViD Toyota WRS, after the team ran for several seasons in open wheels.

It remains to be seen if this new venture is enough for Adamski to keep coming back daily, but for sure hopes will be high, and this once dominant team/manager will seek to add to their extensive trophy cabinet!
