S37 Week 3-4 Recap

I would like to start by thanking everyone who liked the W1-2 Recap i did, your support encouraged me to do another one, so here is the MRC S37 week 3-4 (Unofficial) Recap where we look into what happend in the last two weeks in the Major MRC series

FORMULA 1
-We are back again with the pinickle of motorsport that is Formula 1, and for the spanish GP we have De Saint-Germain on pole, followed by Jarbas who was only 0.018 seconds off the pole time, while Morgan wasnt that far off either on 3rd place, but someone who had a terrible qualifying session is Dare Atelsek who qualified in 23th place
In the race Jarbas won once again, pushing himself up to 4th in the WDC "Jarbas is improving very fast in terms of speed and race management. Ferrari has no specific targets for him in the current season, he is free to risk, free to do errors and free to learn. In any case, I expect that he will do more good results this season." Said Ferrari team principal
The other drivers who were on the podiums are De Saint-Germain and morgan. Now to the other end of the spectrum, we had some really fast drivers doing really bad this race, one of them was Dare Atelsek who didnt improve much from the qualifying session, so he finished 20th, really dissapointing for the Slovenian rookie, and also another person who had a terrible race is Vaara who finished 23rd, his team principal commented on that by saying "Vaara is a really fast driver and brings a lot of experience to the team. I consider him one of the strongest drivers ever. His inconsistencies in the current season are only due to casual situations. He will for sure have his chance to get good results" and that's it for the spanish GrandPrix
-We move on to the monaco GP and we have a RedBull front-row lockout with Morgan on pole and De Saint-Germain in 2nd, Vaara takes 3rd for ferrari as he finally gets another good qualifying session but surprisingly his rookie teammate Jarbas, who had an impressive rookie season so far, is all the way down in 18th after a mistake in Q2 meant he didnt move on to Q3, another person who didnt move into Q3 was Thomazini who didnt even finish his Q2 Lap so he will be starting in P20, we move on to the race and we had a few DNFs as expected from monaco, the first one was from Villanova who spun out and crashed in the Tabac corner in lap 33 while his teammate Marc Montane crashed 18 laps later after a driver mistake (which i can only assume is a lockup) in Saint Devote, moving on to the end of the race, the top 2 stayed the same with Morgan taking the win and De Saint-Germain finishing 2nd with Zatacka taking the last step of the podium
-in canada we had a really wet qualifying session as the first sector proved to be hard to negotiate as many drivers lost valuable time there, Morgan dominated Q1 and Q2 but a mistake in Q3 droped him down to P6, giving away pole to his teammate who had a 1 tenth clearance from Novikov in P2. The Jordan team also doing well with both cars in the top 5 while ferrari had a 9-10 with Vaara in P9 and Jarbas in P10 while the williams found themselves near the back of the grid and with the race looking like it will still be raining, we might have a race that is really worth watching
As expected the race will start raining, this could throw the championship wide open, as Morgan might lose the championship lead this race, after just a few laps many drivers went to the pits to change tyres, as we move on to lap 23 and our championship leader Morgan DNFs out of the grandprix, so far the field is close. Anyone can win this, but in the end Vaara won, after a dissapoiting season from him he finally showed his true pace, giving ferrari their third win of the season, De Saint-Germain Takes second which means we have a new championship leader, De Saint-Germain has a 10 points gap to Morgan now, this is for sure going to be a spicy championship, let's hope it goes on to the final race
-Now let's move on to the next race in paul ricard, Novikov got pole followed by Thomazini in P2, Morgan will be starting P3 while atelsek finally having luck once again getting P4. Both Ferraris and De Saint-Germain made mistakes in Q2 and will be starting from the middle of the grid, in the race Thomazini DNFed from P2 due to a chassis problem, really dissapointing for Porsche as they could of possibly got a double podium as their other driver, Atelsek, finished second behind novikov who dominated the race

Morgan 96pts
De Saint-Germain 90pts
Vaara 67pts

NASC GOLD
-We are back again with another race, this time we'll be racing in Bristol Motor Speedway for the 8TH race of the season, and we got Austin getting his fourth pole of the season, followed closely by Psikuta,Nishino and Drummond who are all behind Austin by less than a tenth of a second, meanwhile down the field we got Redburn who qualified 9TH but was only a thousandth of a second away from 8TH, while the rest of the drivers outside the top 10 were mostly seperated by a considerable amount of time
The first DNF in the race was from Greipel after a chassis problem ended his race, now going back to the lead Psikuta wins the race as austin falls down to 4th, Nishino finished second, while Ritter finished 3rd, while Redburn who started 9th finished 5th, he's been improving through out the seasons so we will see what he can do in the near future
-For the 10th race, the Richmond 400, Nishino gets pole followed closely by Drummond, the gap between these two are just 6 thousandths of a second, while Psikuta made a mistake and will be starting down in 9th, while austin having a worse qualifying session starting all the way down in 14th
Nishino kept his lead and won while Psikuta and Austin made an amazing comeback by filling the rest of the spots on the podium, the rest of the top 10 are : Greipel, Fisichella, Drummons, Davenport, RedBurn, Carlotti and Ritter
-Next race, the Tallageda 500, had a really mixed qualifying, but the summary is that Nishino got pole, austin second, greipel 3rd, and the rest of the top 10 are Psikuta,Fisichella,Carlotti,Vyslouzil,David,Halle,Ritter
In the race Psikuta took the lead and had a fair amount of space between him and P2 but a chassis problem meant he had to retire out of the race, really dissapointing for the polish driver, Drummons ended up winning with Austin and Halle getting 2nd and 3rd respectably
-Now to Dover International speedway and once again we got a really close qualifying session but carlotti takes the top of the qualifying leaderboard followed by Drummond,Austin,Fisichella. Nishino and Psikuta did some impressive laps considering they both made a mistake in the first sector. Nishino actually goes on to won the race, Drummons takes second while Carlotti took 3rd, psikuta fell short of the podium by just a few tenths of a second
-Moving on to martinsville, we got psikuta on pole, drummond second and austin 3rd
Psikuta surprisingly doing really badly in the race, finishing in P7 after qualifying on pole, so the winner was drummond,Halle did fairly well and finished P2 while Davenport took the final step of the podium
-in the Charlotte 600 we got Austin on pole, Psikuta and Fisichella will be starting second and third, the podium drastically changed as Halle won while the two germans Greipel and Ritter completed the podium
-Moving on to the next race, Nishino Took pole while drummond got 2nd, Drummond actually managed to keep his position and finished P2, but it was Psikuta who won

FORMULA E
-Next up on the calendar is uruguay, Vidmar takes pole as he once again shows domination, he is for sure going for the title once again, Fullerton is closely behind him in P2, while sincar will start from 3rd, and babinicz 4th. Fullerton wins the race as Vidmar really messed up his race and finished 4th, Sincar and Barber took the rest of podium spots
-We move on to Chile for the next race, Once again, Vidmar on pole (is it a surprise anymore?) Followed by Babinicz and Fullerton, Barber will be starting 4th, and sincar 5th
Barber dropped significentally in the race, being P6 before DNFing just 5 laps from the end due to a suspension failure, but anyways, Vidmar comes home with ANOTHER win followed by Fullerton in 2nd and Babinicz in 3rd.
-Next up is a track... in the same country... in the same city... (hey MRC team, if you are rading this, why is this a thing? Why two sentiago e-prix?) But anyways, Vidmar takes another pole position, Sincar completes the front-row, and sadly for Fullerton he qualified P12 without any mistakes, it seems like he is struggling to find a good setup for this track, nothing changed much from quali, as the race ended with another victory from Vidmar, and Fullerton didnt really improve in the race

-Here we are once again for another race in the Indycar series, this time we'll be racing in The Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) and once again darville gets pole, followed by szalonna and hunt, kowalski starts in P5, and wirdhiem starts on P7
Darville kept his to the end of the race to win with a big gap to second place who was Kowalski who had a really close finish with Wirdhiem who finished on the last step of the podium
-Now to the 5th race of the season in the Indianapolis GP Circuit (not to be confused with the Indy500 layout) and we have hunt barely on pole, just 0.012 seconds ahead of darville who is also closely followed by Wirdhiem behind him with only a 0.010 seconds diffrence, 0.022 to pole, Bell will start 4th, szalonna 5th, and in 6th place we have Kowalski.
An engine failure put an early end to our pole sitter in lap 15, so Darville is your winner for the IndianapolisGP, Followed by Szalonna in 2nd, and bell rounds up the podium
-We are now on the race that every indycar fan was looking forward to, the INDY 500, Bell takes pole with a 2 tenths advantage, but whats really intresting is P2. Darville and Decesaris put the EXACT same time, but seems like the stewards decided that its Darville who will be starting P2 while Decesaris will start on P3
And the podium for the race was be DeCesaris on top, Wirdhiem second and szalonna third

In the race Kalinin climbed up to the lead to take home a win, with DaCosta and Nalbandian sharing the podium

And Kalinin once again snatches the win, Da Costa finished second while Nalbandian took the last step of the podium
-Moving on to the Italian GP, and in the front row we got, Nalbandian, Woeger and Da Costa
In the race we had a very intresting race long battle between Nalbandian and Kalinin but Nalbandian won after a last lap overtake. Woeger took 3rd
-And now to the final MOTO 1 race of the recap, the Catalan GP in circuit de barcelona-catalunya, Woeger showed great pace in qualifying by geting pole, he was closely followed by Da Costa, and then there was a big gap to the rest of the field.
