S34 NASC Gold Cup Preview Part 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the MRC Season 34 NASC Gold Cup (GC) preview. Let's take a look at each driver competing this season. National ranking in parentheses.

1. Razor Rushman III - Age 28, USA (1st), S33 Supercars series champ (17 wins, 14 poles) and previoius F3 champ, this will be Razor's first GC season.

2. Juca Macieira II - Age 29, Brazil (7th), Macieira has 2 seasons in GC, S33 finished 3rd in GC pts with 4 wins and 5 poles.

3. Andrea DeCesaris - Age 31, Italy (3rd), previous F3 and Superb Formula champ, this will be DeCesaris' 4th GC season, S33 finished 7th in GC pts with 2 wins and 30 top 10s.

4. Heleia Geronès - Age 31, Spain (1st), GC veteran Geronès entering 6th season, finished 10th in GC S33 with 1 win and 31 top 10s.

5. Sauli Niinistö - Age 32, Finland (4th), Niinistö spent the last 3 seasons in Moto1, finished 7th in S33 pts with 2 podiums and 17 top 10s.

6. Sebastian Greipel - Age 29, Germany (4th), S33 was Greipel's 1st GC season, finishing 4th in pts and top 10s in all but 1 race.

7. Roger Relâmpago - Age 35, Brazil (10th), Relâmpago has finished 2nd in GC pts on two occasions back in the day, and is an Indycar and World GT champion since, as well as a winner in F1. Finished 6th in F1 S33, a NASC GC championship would be icing on the cake for this decorated veteran.

8. Claudio Bianucci - Age 30, Italy (5th), this former F3 champ comes to GC from F2 where Bianucci finished 6th in pts with 1 win and 15 top 10s in S33.
