A day to forget for De Peppis.
A day to forget for De Peppis: two single races ended after a few curves, and a tremendous hoax in the Rookie Series' Moscow second race.
De Peppis started second, behind the Swiss Hensen, winner of the first race. The two pilots leaded the race with confidence, when, at lap 23/59 the first Surprise: Hensen broke the change, and De Peppis found himself leader unexpectedly. De Peppis conserved the position after the pit stops, but suddenly the unexpected: at lap 41/59 De Peppis went wide at turn 2 and lost his position in favour of the Polish Biernacki. De Peppis tried in no time to regain his position, but his heat made him hit the guiltless Biernacki. Race finished for De Peppis that had to retire himself. A hard stroke to the ambitions of the young italian driver that registered his first "0" in the championship. Seriously... a day to forget.
