Close conclusion to the Aussie F3 Series
After racing it out from all around Australia, the champion of season 3 was the young 20 year old Kiwi, Malcom Reid
Malcolm clinched the title in the last race at Adelaide, beating fellow Italian Dante Alighieri by a close margin of 6 points.
137 points behind was where 3rd place getter, Esteban Guerrieri from Argentina, followed by fellow Australian Allan Moffat (183 points) and flying finn, Arvo Andersson (157 points).
This series saw lots of blood, sweat, tears and a lot of champagne and triumphant success as we saw 5 different race winners, 9 podium placers, 4 fast lap fliers and all but 3 drivers scored points.
Jimmer:"To me, it was a great season despite our bad luck in some spots, Allan felt proud to be within the Top 5, and the prize money will help tremendoudly for our next season, which we hope to be the Oceania F3 Series.
Allan Moffat will certaintly hope the next step in his career will lead to more success and possibly a drive in a Formula 2 car.
