Rookie Bell rages at his own crew
Trouble brewed at the Formula 3 German Trophy XIII series, as rookie driver Mark Bell went public on his frustrations at the team management.
"I was flying" he raged "I started 14th, and quickly climbed my way up the standings, just edging myself into 6th place and gaining on 5th, when I get the pit sign.
I had pace, but they are calling me in on lap 13. I'm a team guy, so I do as I'm told, and when I come back out, I'm in 15th, with no chance to make a difference in a 20 lap race. Lessons need to be learnt, and quickly" Bell then smashed his helmet on the ground and stormed off to have showdown talks with his management
We managed to catch a team spokesperson who admitted "It was a team problem, pace was fine,we just got our strategy wrong.
We are confident that Mark has all the tools to make it to the top and we will help him achieve that"
We shall see in the coming days, with the Rookie Series about to kick off tomorrow
It's all about the strategy
Sad to hear what happened. I am pretty sure that everyone learned their lesson. Good luck on the upcoming race!
