A Shocking Start...
Young Congolese-Brit Wais Vé Kuba entered this F3 American Series Season as a title contender favourite but instead things didn't go his way.
Starting with Austin quali, he qualified in a shocking 14th place on the grid and the race was no better, Rudolph Redburn eliminated both of them on Lap 2 causing a huge crash with Kuba, flying ontop of Argozi's car without hitting him ending the travel into the barriers, crunching the left front of his Lola chassis, the mechanics had to take a stressful 36 hours to put it back together.
But after slow progess in the Feature race, a high speed rear wing failure sent Kuba out on Lap 8, only completing 8 race laps, classified in 29th in the champ with only 7 points to his name, still ahead of Redburn who was smoking weed all week.
Kuba's miserable start was getting worse and worse as a mistake on his second run left him in 19th, Kuba found himself into 11th after 7 laps before the safety car was deployed after a 4-way crash sent 1 car stranded, as long this moment will be depressing because he would've had a great result in this Sprint race, his gearbox failed during the period.
Kuba refused to comment or talk to the journalists as he's getting angry and frustrated, he knows the champ is running away at it's earliest point and will the bad luck get out of his mind?
P.S.: Rudolph Redburn is suffering the same fate.
