Amazing Torrenti at Indy Series
Interviewed by a Local TV, Mark L. Torrenti released the following comments about his amazing performance at Anhembi, realized during the qualify of the Indy Series race in Brazilian land. “Well,” he said “it’s really pleasant reaching a such high rank in qualify for me on this not very well known track. Above all keeping in count what kind of opponents I’ll see near my car. Novikov, Vergne, Grosjean, Poucette, Szalonna, van Veenendaal… wow, the best of MRC drivers (5 of best 9 rankings plus Poucette, 18th) just around me on the grid…It will be a real adrenalinic start! Anyway,” added the Black Swan team’s driver, “the best thing is the good feeling with the Indy car, much better than F2 car I drove last season. What I expect for myself in the future? Well, I'm now 7th in general classification and my shape seems growing race after race. Anyway, I'm keeping my feet on the ground. I simply hope to avoid stupid crashes or technical failures in the next races aiming for good placements during every race of the season. The target remains obviously finishing in the first 10 places of the final general classification, which would be absolutely great in this so highly challenging series. On the other side, I don’t like easy races where the victory is always reachable. Much better an hard competition where every good result is an hard mountain to climb: speaking about emotions and satisfaction, the reward for a podium got maximizing all the available resources is unreachably high compared with any wins’ stripe in a more easy series.”
