Vos racing aiming for top 5 in season 10
With just one racing week left before the end of the season a lot of teams are looking at next season. This is also true for Lyn and her team.
Estoril has been kind to Lyn. She qualified 9th and improved to 8th in her first race. In her second race she moved up to 5th. She could have done better, if it hadn't been for Bruno Costa who passed her in the final laps of both races.
We met up with Lyn and Hubert Planus, the new head mechanic at Vor racing.
You're fighting for the 10th spot this season. Not a bad result for your first season? Are you satisfied?
Not entirely satisfied. But it'll have to do for now. Next season I intend to win my first race and really make my mark!
You've garnered quite a bit of fame, but you haven't provided your fans with a single victory. Does that bother you?
Ehm. No. Why should it bother me? I'm not bothered.
Hubert, you're new to your team. Do you think you can lead the team to their first victory.
Next season? I doubt it. Lyn is slow.
I'm not slow!
You think she's slow?
Yes. She is also inexperienced and sloppy, she makes a lot of mistakes. She hardly understands anything about how a F3 car works. I am surprised she finished a single race before I came along.
I finished because I'm really good at driving. And I got 5th today. I AM GOOD!
Hubert, what do you predict for next season?
Despite her many, many flaws, she is surprisingly easy to work with. She understands most of the feedback I give her. So.... if she does everything I tell her, perhaps 5th is possible.
Lyn, anything to add?
I am good at driving... I am!
Will Lyn manage to claim a top 5 position next season, only time will tell.
