Fredo di Caro ends his racing career
On a press conference Fredo di Caro, currently number 2 in Germany and 8th in last years Indy Series, announced his career end at age 24. Everybody was surprised about this decision at this early age but di Caro stated that he was not able to compete with younger drivers anymore and he would like to stick to managing in the future.
Di Caro enjoyed a successful career which led him to winning the German Forum Trophy twice (Season 6 and 7), 4 trophy wins in Custom Series and a 2nd place in F2 North America in Season 7. He leaves the stage with 108 race wins and 105 pole positions on his resumee.
“My career will be over soon but i’m really looking forward to driving in this year’s Champions Tropy for the first time as a last highlight of my career.” he told us in a quick interview.
Speculations arise about who will replace him at messi4h racing team. Current frontrunner is talented ADAC Formel Masters pilot Mark Winter who could drive in F3 in next season.
