ODell's Nightmare season comes to a crashing end
British Driver DJ ODell season in the Indy Junior championship has come to a crashing end at the Homestead season finale.
After a short season in Dutch F3 which ended with multiple podium finished in his rookie season, much interest was put upon this driver making such a big leap to one of the USA's Indy Junior series.
After a early promising start by the driver, a succsession of high speed crashes and mistakes, mainly on the daunting Ovals, mared his season which many observers stated effected the drivers confidence come season end.
Heading into the final Homestead round ODell was in a promising top 15 position, fighting for a season best top 10 finish, when one the 53 lap, his bad luck struck again, with his car ending up in the outer concrete wall, leaving the driver finishing 21st in the championship and top British driver.
ODell has stated that he see's this as a unfinished chapter and would like to continue competing within the series to prove his worth. No statement from his team as of yet if they are to continue with this promising but troubled driver.
