Scandinavia F3 Series and nation rank 1
After competing in The Rookie Series for the last half of season 7, the young and hopeful Truls Lillebo were considered good enough for racing in Scandinavian F3 Series.
Season 7 Summary
The Rookie Series was both uplifting and a learning experience for Lillebo. Almost managing a top 100 place in the standings after only 8 races. The 18-year-old proved to the world that he was a man for the future by ending on the podium for 6 of the races and with one pole. The only thing missing now is the win.
Scandinavian F3 Series
The Arctic Circle
A very familiar track for Lillebo, as the only norwegian formula track. The first two races would show who's gonna perform and who is not. After the top 2 of Season 7 went along for bigger events, the favorites for the season was the Danish Leholk and the Finnish Kivinen. Allthough there were may outsiders, these had proven to be contenders for the title.
The Races
After getting an uplifting third place in qualification, Lillebo made some bad mistakes in the first race and finished 6th. Even getting passed by his "padawan" and training partner P. Solberg (who always fail at quals). The second race was filled with mistakes in the hole upper field. Everyone made them so the results didn't differ much. Lillebo managed to get up to fourth, and Leholk passed Kivinen to make it a tie after the first two races of the series. Solberg fills up the podium with Lillebo on the fourth spot.
Numero Uno
In the little Formula community of Norway there has been a change in the top. Truls Lillebo now has secured his place at the top with decent places in the series. His time was now as a better driver named P. Solberg is closing in from behind. And with former leader P. Skram only racing in Rookie Series with a late start, he seized the oppurtunity. One of the season goals has been achieved and now looking for others to complete. Including his first win.
