F3 American Series S7 - Kalembene's Season Review
Wais brought a impressive start to the season, finishing 4th at Austin, but the next race saw him crash out. He shined at some races, some races he was uncompetitive, some races bad luck was behind him. Of course he would've been in Top 10 in champ and some podiums, Denver 2 was the most notable, a contender for the win, but a cruel, rare chassis problem putted him out, it was wet and only 10 drivers finished. He also impressed in the wet, finishing 9th and 4th in Cleveland, after 6 pointless runs to the finale, Wais finished 10th in Race 1. But in Race 2, he was high has 3rd, before a misdiagnosed tyre data problem putted him for a 2nd stop and giving him the FL, but down to 7th. He said, 'it was such an enjoyable season for me, I battled with some great, talented racers out there. I had some moments when other guys shunt me out due to their drivers errors, after my retiring from the race, I go and stress myself to make sure I won't be involved in stupid crashes like that again. We might see each other again in the F3 World Series, even F2 or to Formula 1 because I met some great guys in the paddock, even my engineers when they work so hard on the car, I can't blame thzm for retirements , 1 crash was my error (Road America R2), 2 mechanical failures which were random (Mid-Ohio 1 and Denver 2), and a setup problem (Watkins Glen 2). I really enjoying racing with them so bring on Season 8!'
