Aston Martin Fan Championship - Season 5
With the fifth edition of the “Aston Martin Fan Championship” having just ended, it is time to summarize what it was like.
Felipe Campolargo won his fifth title (obtaining 7 wins, 6 poles and 9 podiums) the newcomer to the Aston Martin Fan Cup Ash Bee came 2nd (2 wins, 1 pole and 8 podiums) and Vladimir Romadov came in 3rd (3 poles and 6 podiums). In 4th place was Julianna Risko (1 victory and 2 podiums), Noé Nogueira finished 5th (2 podiums) and Jamie Thorn[/u ] in 6th (1 podium). Behind was [u]Yolanda Carrapatelo, in 8th came the veteran Nádia Portocarrero, in 9th place came Visvalsdis Cels. Elias Escalada closed the top 10.
Nádia Portocarrero continues her position as the most successful driver at Aston Martin-FC (with 6 titles), she leads with 4624 points, 30 wins, 79 podiums, 103 top 5s, 111 top 10s and 29 fastest laps. But, Mauricio leads the most pole positions with 39!
In the Under-23s the championship was dominated this time by Bernandino Campolargo with 10 pole positions and 8 victories ahead of Kelemen Szegedi and Antonio Mateus.
It is the 1st title for Bernardino. The legend of the under-23s continues to be Tomás Gois Rocha with 3 titles. 2nd place in the classification went to Kelemen Szegedi with 1 victory. António Mateus finished in 3rd place with 5 podiums. Right behind came Edu Inácio. In 5th place came the young Fabrício Zé Cruz, just ahead of George Veliky II. In 7th place came Hude Gomes, in 8th place the also young Silke Rasmussen and Connor Abbot in 9th place. Gabriel Santaquilani closed the top 10.
In the records table, Felipe Campolargo continues with the most points scored (2730), the most victories (26), the most podiums (45), the most top 5 finishes (56) and the most fastest laps (34). Tomás Góis Rocha is still the driver with the most top 10s (59) and the most titles (3).
This season, with Bernardino leaving the under-23 category, who will win the title next season? Will it be Kelemen Szegedi, António Mateus or Edu Inácio? In the main class, will Felipe get his 6th title? Or will another driver be able to dethrone him?
As usual, Aston Martin will once again distribute 100 coins to the top 5 in the under-23 classification. Here is the distribution:
