Caedus Motorsport Announces Return to Truck Series
CLEVELAND, Ohio - After several seasons away, Caedus Motorsport has announced their return to the series that gave them their start: the NASC Truck Cup Series.
Two time series champion Willie Overton will continue in his role as the team's circuit racing driver, driving the #24 truck.
On top of back to back Truck series championships, Overton also made the playoffs in all four of his seasons in the Silver Cup series, including a Championship 4 appearance before moving to Caedus Motorsport's open-wheel division.
"I've had a lot of success in stock cars, particularly in the Truck series," Overton said when requested for comment. "I've always had a soft spot for the Trucks, so I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of them."
Overton also had some comments regarding possible retirement. "I'm not planning on it yet, but it's definitely on the horizon. I've had a lot of fun racing over the years, and I'm hoping I'll have some more good runs in the Trucks until it's time to hang it up."
