Comunicati Stampa - New Season, old winners
New Season, old winners
Into to the new season there were a lot of surprises about the ongoing British Formula 3 Series. Right from the start Ben Solo won the first race and scored a 3rd on sundays's race in Brands Hatch. Surprised? - No, we neither.
More astonishing results followed by Ray Striver who went first from Pole in Thruxton's friday race and finished 4th on sunday. Again not a surprise!
While far more experienced drivers where expected to dominate the grid, the new, young and wild, completed by Biguel Maines scored fantastic points after the first two racing weekends.
This week it will be at Donington, where it is rumored that Maines is heading for his first season victory.
The competition is far more close and tensed, as it was expected pre-season.
Furthermore there are still the more experienced ones, who will fight for the championship. This will garantuee the maybe best season ever in British F3.
Rumors in the paddock bet on a close fight between Striver and Solo, though Maines is not to be underestimated and a possible title candidate as well.
Britain is excited about its new young and talented drivers, the crowds are more present than ever. But let us not forget, that the season is still at its beginning and a lot can happen till the end.
Pre-season bets were marked by the bookies and immediatly corrected after the first two weekends.
However, the game is on and we are waiting for the qualifying this evening to point out the competative drivers in Donington.
Stay close and do not miss anything, until then...
Gentlemen, start your engines!
