First Preseason Test in Slovakiaring
In 24 to 25 May 2014, Formula 1 Preseason Test was announced in Slovakia Ring. This circuit was first Formula 1 pre-race of all time.
Introduction
Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is a 5.935 km motor racing circuit in Orechová Potôň, Dunajská Streda District in Slovakia, approximately 30 km away from Bratislava Airport. It was built between 2008 and 2009. In 2014, Automotodróm Slovakia Ring was the first preseason race in Formula 1.
Qualification
In Qualification in Slovakia Ring, Philippe from Red Bull lead the pole in Slovakia Ring preseason test. Then, Alex Botta (as Odissea Martini Racing) was the second driver in this pole. And Andre Acarini was the driver in the third place in this qualifying.
Race
The atmosphere in Slovakia Ring was very satisfied and fulled with people which the weather was sunny. The road track in Slovakia was very clear and now began to race in this track. Philippe still led in Formula 1 test in Slovakia Ring, but he got big mistake of the driver and turned into fifth. He also crashed in this pre-race because of mistake drivers' overtaking and risk problem. Alex Botta was still leading from about lap 10 into lap 50. Then, Andre Acarini passed his teammates to win this race. Ivaan Szabo from McLaren passed all laps in Slovakia Ring with the third place. He said that he felt satisfied when he was in podium of preseason race.
