Kubica wins on Ferrari the Japanese GP in Suzuka
Great success of the World Champion Robert Kubica in the Japanese GP of Suzuka on Ferrari.
Kubica set a two pits strategy that let him to win the race with an advantage of more than 12 seconds. His race was clean and his pace was impressive till the end. This is a well deserved win, if we consider the last unlucky races of Robert. Well done!!
On the other side, the other Ferrari driver Vasco Guerra, starting from the pole, was on a 3 pits strategy and was penalize by the safety car. It is not what the Portuguese driver known as the "Red Rocket" expected, as during the race he was virtually leading the driver Championship. Guerra is still on track to fight for the title, very impressive if we consider that he is a rookie in Formula 1.
The came back of Miller on Red Bull from the sixth to the second place makes more difficult for Ferrari to recover in both Drivers (Miller leads by 18 points on Guerra) and Constructor Championships (Red Bull 442, Ferrari 419, Porsche 302), but Ferrari and its two drivers demonstrated to be a strong team capable to fight with Red Bull till the end.
"We took only 4 wins on 9 poles" declared the Italian Ferrari Head Ingeneer Max Del Ragno "our drivers are doing an excellent job, sometimes race conditions were against us, we need to maximize our results in races if we want to fight with a so formidable competitor as Red Bull (and Miller) till the end."
