Comunicati Stampa - The Finnishers
The Finnishers
Finland have had strong traditions in the world of Motorsport in the last 40 years. We´ve had World Champions in Rally & F1, but we´ve never had an actual World Champion in MRC´s version of F1.
The closest we have been towards winning the World title in F1 at this game was in season 33 where Sami Vatanen in his Ferrari (Audi back then) was battling with Red Bull´s Lucas de Saint-Germain in the thrilling cliffhanger where Sami lost the title to Lucas by just 1 point.
Last Finnish driver to finish in the top 3 in F1 was Lumi Vaara who finished in the 2nd place in season 35 just behind his Red Bull team-mate Pinto who won that season´s championship for Red Bull.
After Season 37 when Lumi Vaara decided to retire and quit this game, we haven´t had a Finnish driver to fight for the wins and podiums in MRC F1... But now we can be closer than ever
As Yrjö Allas (Eurobilltracker) has signed a contract with the most successful F1 team in this game (Red Bull) and will partner with the Russian driver Alexey Miller for Season 44. Is this the new rise for the Finnish drivers in this game and can Yrjö shock the world and become the first Finnish World Champion in this game?
Future is better brighter than ever. With Finnish community producing great talented drivers in the youth and seniors. Next future stars like.
Mikael Salo (Petu92) , Pertti Räikkönen (Skinny), JJ Lehto (Budanbanaani), Oiva Haveri (Lappa) & Oiva Hämäys (Temnes)
We never start, what we can´t ´´Finnish´´.
