McLaren Celebrates Formula 1 Double
Another Formula 1 season has come to a close and what a great season it was for McLaren.
Michael Damon Novikov was absolutely brilliant in the second half of the season winning seven out of ten races and achieving podiums in the other three. There is no doubt he's deserved the championship, his third in a row. We can also be very happy with the performance of Ivan II Szabo. Although his season was full of ups and downs, he did secure his maiden Grand Prix win in Baku and finishing 5th in drivers’ championship is also no mean task. He is also still fairly young, so we expect even better results from him in coming seasons.
We can also be very proud that we have managed to win the constructors title for the first time since season 31. This achievement is even greater because Red Bull had a considerably faster car through the entire season. Our performance gap to Red Bull was actually the largest in recent years.
However, despite such a successful season, all is not quite so rosy. When it comes to voting/activity points donations McLaren was always in the bottom third and this is starting to take its toll on the team. This season Ford has already collected over 28.000 voting points donations. On the other hand, McLaren is struggling with just over 1.000 right at the bottom.
This is why we need your help to remain competitive in the future. If you don’t know how to vote and donate voting/activity points check this tutorial that was made by torbar4life:
