Keterangan Pers - [F1] THE BEST WAR SO FAR

[F1] THE BEST WAR SO FAR

Season 23 was a great one for WAR. Many team records were broken and what we accomplished was above all expectations. In our most consistent season ever, the top5 finish was also a milestone. Here are the team's broken records this season:

- Best team finish ever: 5th place
- Most points in a season: 122pts
- Most top 5s in a season equalling the result on S9, 5 top 5s
- Most top 10s in a season, 19
- Best position for a driver, 8th place for Johnny
- Most top 10s for a driver, 14 for Johnny

The growth of the team came with perfect timing to help consolidate the team's finances. Our development team finally managed to squeeze a new steering into their schedule, so there is no mechanical part holding our machine back now. All summed-up, WAR fans have much to smile with and we look with great expectations at next season where we will be featuring the best WAR car so far.

SEASON 24
Our best car so far will be driven by Johnny da Costa Jr who, after his best season with the team, still has much to offer and Peter Pan Jr who we trust, despite being a F1 rookie, has more than enough quality to deliver. Vanderpuije will retire and we wish him all the best. In a much debated team decision, the season 24 chassis will have a different focus. Our goal is to secure and consolidate our last top 5 finish, while always looking ahead to improve our situation. The new steering allows us finally stop racing after past mistakes and plan for the future alone. That's the place where we want to be!

MAXIMUS VANDERPUIJE
We are sincerely grateful to daftkrft, who is such a great and easy going manager. Maximus Vanderpuije was one of the drivers that signed with the team over the seasons we enjoyed the most. He can be proud of his career! We were very pleased he accepted to have a second run with WAR and contributed to our memorable record breaking season. We hope to see his successor drive for WAR one day.
