Driver Edelman Addresses Season 34 Woes, Season 35 Plans and Potential Rivalry

Owner and driver Tony Edelman, wrapping up his second season took a moment with the press to address his in track performance, plans and a few comments aimed in his direction by fellow driver Brad Brady.

"yeah, obviously the season could have gotten better, but I wouldn't call it a total wash. We're new. The entire team is new, so there's bound to be growing pains. A lot of the races I've entered have been for the sake of gaining experience. Obviously, we want to win, but realistically I'm not going to come out and beat the best right away." Edelman said about his season struggles.

When asked what he planned to do, Edelman was quick to respond. "Canada." He said with a bit of a smirk. This signifies a move to stock cars after a decent 14th place finish in the standings after gathering top 10 finishes in 8 of the 23 events. "I'm currently working on deal with GM Goodwrench and of course, Red Bull to sponsor our Chevrolets next season and with luck, we can have liveries released soon." Edelamn stated.

Once all the talk about his racing was done, Edelman was asked about his potential rival Brady's comments. "To be honest, I don't have time for decrepit old has beens. Brady's just an idiot who thinks he's Tony Stewart but can't even lift his helmets. It's a close sport and we come into contact a lot, but that's just racing and if Brady doesn't like it, maybe he should retire. All I know is if he's got any problems, he can meet me at any Applebees and I can sole them." Edelman said before heading back to his car for a qualification run.
