NEWS: Bugs, Fixes and Updates!

Hi guys - We got news!

SERVER MOVE:
As you already know from the last news article MRC moved to a new server recently.
It went pretty smoothly with the only bug being that facebook logins were affected.
This has been resolved now and we can report a clean bill of health with our new bigger and better server.

V8 RATING BUG
There was a bug effecting the awarding of rating points in the V8 Supercar Series. Those effected in this series should see the correct rating points in their drivers profile now as it was fixed this morning.

NEW FEATURES
* Change Username: You now have the option to change your username once per year.
This option can be found in the User Profile and costs 100 coins. Normal rules regarding driver names apply with changed names, as is the MRC policy.

* Employee Transfers (F1): It is now possible to transfer employees from an F1 team shareholder OR driver to that F1 team.
The owner can set the employee for transfer on the employee profile page. The F1 team can then choose to take the employee from the very same employee profile page.

* Delete Set-ups: You can now opt to delete set-ups that you have archived if oyu wish to. This will help keep your archives for every track clean and tidy!

* Translation Work: Work has begun on translating all texts that were embedded in the game, such as live broadcast commentary and certain texts from various pages. Most of the original translations, when MRC was in it's infancy, were let's say "not up to scratch" mainly being down to non-native speakers carrying out a lot of the translations!
However, this issue is now being tackled on a grand scale and improvements in this area should already be seen!

2 RECENT COMPETITIONS NOW CLOSED: In the turn of the season news article we announced 2 competitions. One of them ended quite quickly, the car search in the MRC e-mag, while the Los Angeles "Creat-A-Track" competition's deadline was yesterday.

The winners in both of these competitions will be announced in the next news article which will be a few days away!
