Further Info About Changes

Following some complains, we want to provide some more info about some changes.

Further Info About Changes

TROPHY OF CHAMPIONS UPDATE

-Trophy of Champions creation has been updated in order to be done automatically at the end of each season.

-Races will be now 4 in a single country each season, featuring a road course, an oval, a street track and a fictional track.

-The Marussia B2 has been replaced as the series car by the Pagani Zonda 760.

FORMULA 4 AND CAREER PATH

-Formula 4 is now the base Season Series in formula cars. It hasn't been decided yet whether F4 cars will eventually replace F3 ones as the "base car" with which to do Single Races and Rookie races of if they will coexist in some way, so you can share your thoughts in the comments.

-Coming with Formula 4 and starting next season will be "automated calendars". What this means is that selected lower series will have a pool of circuits from which to draw upon, and calendars will vary each season automatically. Obviously the variation will be defined by the national or regional scope of the series.

-Speaking of Rookie Series, Career Path, which you can now find on your driver's page, serves as a marker as to which way your driver will go, Circuit racing or Moto racing. By choosing Moto, your rider will have access to Moto Rookie Series as well as Moto 3 rookie races.
It is likely that as the game grows (introduction of rally series is currently expected for Season 39) more paths may be added.

F1 CHANGES

-We introduced F1 employee designer experience last season. It starts to be used now. The change will be applied slowly only to development of those parts which was not possible until this change. That means a new chassis will go by a new system, but the engine, gearbox and all other parts will stay on the original system to preserve the integrity of the game. In general it means slower development and higher influence of facilities. Upgrades to parts on this season will work by old system.

-F1 end of season share issue will be modified. It makes no sense to require issuing of 10% of current shares to get 60% of gap to best earning team for teams which have high value and will only get few millions in comparison with weak teams which shares are cheap and they will get more than 10 millions this way. These teams which will receive less than 10M will not have to issue full 10% of shares but reasonably less...

NEW DRIVER SKILLS

-Riding Finesse: This attribute represents advanced motorbike riding techniques such as trail braking and throttle/brake overlapping. Mastering this attribute will result in better lap time and easier overtaking.

-Body Positioning: The way a rider has their body positioned has a great effect on their center of gravity, overall stability and their lean angle when performing a turn.

-Space Awareness: Space awareness is a skill which is useful in tight position battles, such as the ones seen in NASCAR series.

-In-race Adjustments: Track conditions can change during a long race and the ability to do some in-race adjustments to the car in combination with driver feedback can improve the performance of the car.

-Smoothness: Smoothness is a special skill useful on soft surfaces where a smoother approach to throttle and brake is needed.

-Adaptability: Adaptability is a skill which allows drivers to go faster and not lose time due to track unfamiliarity. Good co-driver also helps.

So this is more or less it. We hope we clarified some doubts.

Any other questions or suggestions can be referred to wandaL and should be answered in the next edition of Press Conference with Debik.

Thanks for bearing with us and good racing!
