Lehdistötiedotteet - Zaggro (likely) Sets Another New MRC Record

Zaggro (likely) Sets Another New MRC Record

Chaika, Ukraine. Nations Cup is off to a great start... But... Not for British hopeful Mack Zaggro.

You may remember Zaggro found himself the recipient of an inexplicable 14 minute qualifying attempt on a circuit that asks only a 1:30 lap... Well... Now he fancies a crack at yet another new, unintended record.

During today's Nations Cup race, an aggressive strategy saw Mack pit early for fresh soft tyres, however, it seems his pit crew would rather stitch him up and sent the Brit out on his rims.

That's right, race reports read that Zaggro had no tyres at all, live feed broadcast had no tyre symbol, and post race report didn't include "hard" or "soft"... Instead just a blank space lap after lap until his eventual DNF on Lap 27.

Never wanting to admit defeat, the 28 year old gave it a good go! Lapping 49 seconds off the pace for 15 straight laps until presumably he had ground his tyreless car clean into the road, and effectively bobsledding his way to an early exit.

Mack could only apologise to his UK community as he spearheads a transitional period for the Nation in the competition.
