Mediterranean Series – Torrenti after the "martian" De Montferrand

If there wasn’t a martian in the series, it would be the perfect race for Mark L. Torrenti, this last one at Paul Ricard. “Unfortunately”, De Montferrand does another job and even this time he finished first, with the variant related to the gap inflicted to the opponents: it has been in fact necessary waiting 1’15” to see another driver cutting the finish line. Good for Torrenti, he was that driver, getting the 9th podium in the season in 14 races, all finished earning points. And thanks also to the retirement occurred to Marone, Torrenti is now 2nd in the series. “Really a good sensation to be in a so high position at this point”, said Torrenti. “I hope to see confirmed my car’s reliability so to defeat the Marone’s attack I wait in last three events of the season”. A final season which will start with a double appointment at home for the two Italians: Mugello and Monza.
