F1 MRC: Do You Know?!

Hi everyone, I gathered a couple of fun MRC F1 facts/information that are not “seen” unless you look it up and do some work, so this is just me sharing it with you guys.

Do you know who is the most improved driver in terms of points when we compare S22 to S23 of MRC F1? It was Damon Michael Novikov with +135 points gained!

Do you know who is the most improved driver in terms of positions when we compare S22 to S23 of MRC F1? It was Johnny Da Costa Jr with +7 positions gained!

The full lists are below, only 24 drivers are in it because only 24 participated in both seasons.

Do you know who is the most improved team in terms of points when we compare S22 to S23 of MRC F1? It was Windsor Alliance Racing with +73 points gained!

Do you know that both S22 F1 champion and S23 F1 champion finished with the same exact points? You didn’t! But it did happen, both Rocco Rapido in S22 and now Morales Garcia scored 268 points to nab the crown. Funny enough they were teammates for the McLaren team one season ago, and that same McLaren team has won both of those team championships as well! Not that I am superstitious but that 268 number is looking real good right now! ;)

Do you know how many MRC F1 drivers were able to finish every race in S23? We had four, and they were Morales Garcia, Y. Allas, M. Mihaylov and B. Wayne. They were our MRC F1 Iron Drivers!

Ok guys to finalize, I took the times of every driver in every GP from this season, and added them up just like you do in Cycling or Rally. Being that when drivers DNF’d I just gave them the time of the last driver that finished the race. This was just for fun to see how it would end in terms of rankings compared to how the MRC F1 Championship actually finished. It also shows the driver/team consistency combo!

So what do you know, the actual Champ Morales Garcia would be crowned even if this was done by that method! And not by much either, just 4 seconds ahead of Grojean Jr. We had two other drivers that matched the same positions, they were M. Mihaylov and F. Dominguez. But for the most part it was close. It was pretty fun to follow this and see it unfold as it does tho.

That’s it for now fellas, I should have one more PR coming soon before the season rollover with the stat that I came up with in S18, I was able to recreate it for this season, so will try to post the Weighted F1 Performance results (or wF1P) before the season ends, just need to add up the results, which can still take a bit of time.
