Laissez Faire is fine, even in a global game.
Expecting strategic bid blocking is not a clear and honorable practice though. Even if it is legally done you must ask, is it ethical?
If ANY team is setting auction on an Open Market then they need to expect foreign bids. Either post content that they will be rejected and deal with any backlash...and not waste foreign bidders time (or perhaps something reverse where foreigners push the bid...then who would be complaining you think?)
Or they do not place it on auction at all, and hold bids in private forum and arrange transfers there.
In all honesty could they even Prove they had a pure team to begin with?? This is the World Wide Web after all ;)
Integrity is everyone's business. Advertising a sale and then blocking the sale, well that is not legal anywhere....except in the world of games it seems. My "hat is off" to Audi, and a thumbs down to the Poland franchise.
So where exactly is the problem?
From my understanding of the auction rules anyone can bet right? SSR is based in Poland, all their owners are Polish, it's understandable that they want to keep it that way. Call it tradition or whatever, they didn't outright reject his bet they just...
