Sandor Torghelle impresses Staci Evans with a dominant display of race know how.

Staci Evans had a competitive day at the Mount Panorama Circuit today. She finished in 9th place overall and raced a very clean and fast race. The team at MidWest Post spent time with Staci as she reviewed the race footage and talked about the event.

Staci stated that she knew there was a very high level field and seeing big time drivers from other series is always a treat. She tried to stay around fellow American Vini Barker and team mate Leonard McCoy as much as possible as they navigated around the track.

She was happy to see many SENNA helmets in the race as well. They entered some young and growing talent in the race as well. She was also happy that her Team Rage cars both finished in the top ten. She stated Leonard McCoy is a fun guy to learn from and seeing him take a top five spot at 4th position was great.

On the film she showed the agents from the press how dominant Sandor Torghelle was today. The driver from Hungary had such a lead that when he stopped to pit he came in and 1st place and pulled out of the pits and managed to stay in first place even though he pitted off pace and was the only car in pit row at the time. She was glad for him that a caution did not come out and ruin his pit strategy as he deserved the win with such a performance today.

She concluded by saying Sandor Torghelle is wasting his talents in F3 and we all hope to see him in a much larger series next season. She would not be surprised at all to see him in F1 or any series of his choice if the finances fall in place. His skills are that well suited, he could drive anything.

MidWest Post will continue to follow young driver Staci Evans as she tries to grow in her racing career and keep all of the folks in the MidWest aware of what their local talent is doing around the Nation and in the World of racing.
