Hendrix to Retire, US President Will Not Seek Re-Election
After about 3 solid seasons, it appears as if US youngster Eric Hendrix is about to retire.
"I don't regret anything about my career as it currently stands," said Hendrix, "but I feel as if it is my time to leave. I've decided to enroll in college starting this Fall instead of continuing my racing career."
This is a very shocking revelation, as Hendrix has cracked the top 500 in the world in less than 3 years racing, as well as currently sitting in 3rd place in the F3 American Series.
"Obviously, this news shocked the organization," noted Red Eagle Racing's Racing Director, Kurt Morrison. "We felt good about Eric's development, as he's found a fair amount of success in his career. But Eric decided what he wanted to do, and we have no choice but to respect his decision. We wish him luck in all of his future endeavors and have no ill will towards him for his decision."
As a result, RER President and Manager ablesser88 announced today that he will not seek re-election as USRA President next season. He noted that the reason behind this decision was to focus more on the development of Hendrix's successor. He also said that his next driver will be willing to drive in any Nations Cup races once he is ready to do so.
