Team Boss not concerned over Rookie's qualifying performance
The team boss of Matt Cecil has said today he is not concerned with the performance of his driver and position in his debut race at Bathurst. Cecil qualified 27th out of 30th ahead of tonight's race at Bathurst. He said Cecil (who has previously put some experience under his belt in the V8 Supercar series) has not got any pressure on him to get decent results as he knows it will be hard to change from V8 supercars to F3. Cecil had to say "I like this track its unforgiving if you made an error but I have got 2 wins here in the V8 series. I came here for a change and I will see how I go in a few seasons and then decide from there, but if we have a race here like we did in the V8 Supercars Bathurst 1000 then it might be on in the last few laps, we just need to keep the nose clean and try to stay on the lead lap". Team boss of the team said he can see Matt has talent he just needs a good set up for a race and then the results will come.
