Lehdistötiedotteet - Road Rage Challenge a great success
Road Rage Challenge a great success
Yesterday the first ever Road Rage Challenge came to an end. Several of the world most talented drivers (Dominik Dan, Rick Dean, Svetlana Kolina and Nikolay Dmitriev to name a few) took to several of the most famous road races across the world.
As the name suggests Rage was present en-masse. With five out of six Rage drivers partaking in the series. Only Nick Wheeler missed out due to scheduling issues. Though Rage was desperate to claim the first Road Rage title for the home team, in the end they had to accept defeat. It was Dominik Dán who won the series, after winning 9 out of 12 races. Truls Lillebo did an amazing job to get second, the experienced Ricky Dean took third and Ralf Jr Toree took fourth.
Lyn Vos took fifth, delivering the most consistent performance out of all of the Rage drivers. “Did I want to win the series? Ofcourse I did! But Dominik is merciless. What is a girl to do? Fifth is good in a field this strong. But more importantly, this series was a huge success. Not every series draws this strong of a field. Clearly, winning the Road Rage Challenge is no small feat. Whoever wants to partake in the next one, better bring his or her A-game.”
It was Rage who funded the creation of the Road Rage Challenge. Driver Drummont Bennet and his team masterminded the project and received aid from Dominik Dan in finalizing the series. The Road Rage Challenge is set to return the 14 of December for its second outing.
It is rumored that Dominik stated that other teams might decide to create their own custom series in the future. Could this mean that the Road Rage Challenge is the first of many new series? What will this mean for the world of racing?
