Lehdistötiedotteet - Growing Rage
Growing Rage
No; Nick Wheeler is not having another DNF-related outburst. Nor is Rage Motorsports suddenly maturing. Instead, Rage is adding a new Pilot.
We sent our Reporter Will Gates to Long Beach to interview the newest Rager, who had just finished qualifying.
WG: I'm here with the newest member of Rage Motorsport: Lyn Vos! Lets get right to the elephant in the cockpit: How do you think your fans will respond to this announcement?
Vos: I'm sure a lot of people are surprised to see me in Rage this season. I had something of a rivalry going on with the veterans. But I always enjoyed talking and hanging out with them. Everyone in the team is incredibly ambitious and that in turn drives me to reach new heights.
WG: Why not race in North America like last season?
Vos: I really did want to compete against Wheeler and Wayne and everyone else in the HamrHedZ Cup. But the Junior Indy International series is one of the most competitive series out there. The idea of competing in a stage this big just really excited me, I just couldn't resist.
WG: You were able to overachieve last season, placing higher overall than the pundits expected. Have you set yourself a target for the Indy series?
Vos: I'm aiming for 12th. But I really don't know how well I'll do. This is all so new.
WG: Let's talk about your role on the Team. What do you think you can bring to the team?
Vos: Hmm... For all its strengths Rage is lacking in one department. Have you noticed that nobody in the team has a cool nickname? Not to worry. I'll be sure to provide everyone with one.
WG: Well there you have it. Big news leading into Season 11. Lyn Vos joins Rage! Like many of you. I'm shaking my head in surprise at this development. This is a story that I am sure we'll return to during the season.
