Empty Series

The last thing I want to do is keep repeating the same old problem... But... Right now, season series are looking worse than ever, and it's a problem that has steadily grown year on year.

As of writing this press release, the following series are not full... (Empty seats in brackets)

Indy Jr (3)
NASCAR (3)
Formula 2 (2)
SuperbFormula (1)

Though, a series of these kinds of prestige, a few empty seats is a given...

DTWS (4)
911 Supervisor (5)
World GT (7)
World TC (9)
Euro TC (14!)
Benelux TC (10!)
Portugal TC (3)
Russia TC (10)
Supercars (2)
Turismo Carratera (8)
Stock Car Brasil (2)

F3 Majors are averaging 5 empty seats
F3 Regionals are mostly 8 or 9
Even in F3 Nationals, the first real step on a driver's ladder, only 2 of 14 series are full.

I know Moto is new and niche, so I haven't included them... But as of right now, Moto 2 will be running a half field at best in Season 31. Only ten seasons ago, it was expected to have 35+ applications per series, especially in F3

For me, and I know this has been said so so many times before as a preference, but is it time (before it snowballs further) to allow for managers to have second drivers?

I know the logistics of this could be a nightmare, and it is no simple thing to implement. But if new managers are scarce, we need to be proactively keeping the existing managers enthused, filling up series, mixing up the driver scales and bumping up the active numbers.

This is not a master plan, and I know Devs work hard to keep the game moving along! But two driver managers (and the potential for teams there-after) is a long running debate that comes around very often.

If this "please can we have two drivers!" Debate has been dismissed or written off by Devs already for whatever reason, i haven't seen it. Apologies if so.

Two Drivers Time?

2019-01-28 20:16:44 por Mobeer - Me gusta: 1 | Puntuación: 1.942

The problem I see in encouraging new managers is that their driver will either be uncompetitive early on, or start badly in order to become competitive later. Therefore I would allow a new manager 2 drivers (only if they wish); a default 24-year old ...

Multiple Drivers Argument

From Team SCR, I would believe the best way to go would be to allow managers to own two drivers. I have several ideas that I cover in this press release, so just hear me out here please. The reasoning would be to firstly, and most importantly, fi...

Developers consider this. More money, fuller series, retaining players, adding more players. More money. How all those super licenses, more private series, potentially more pay series other than F1 Fuller series simple fuller series means max...

Filling Series

2019-01-22 00:50:47 por PhilipGoldberg - Me gusta: 4 | Puntuación: 7.429

My opinion about the topic of filling series is that the use of random retired drivers to fill the spots is a reasonable way to go in having drivers not be screwed over by a small amount of competition, but I feel that there should still be an aspect...

Why empty seats in series

2019-01-22 00:13:20 por WilieEthelbertCoyote - Me gusta: 2 | Puntuación: 3.600

Hi Adamski, I agree, 1- 2 drivers would be a big big plus for the managers. 2- Being able to create private races where the drivers rating are closer to each other would also be a great motivator, I create the Crazy Canuck series and limit...

Emlin Dawning said he is interrested to not drive only in F3, and would like to try maximum of all series. But as a beginner he have no money to enter in this series. Maybe in a nearby futur.
