I see your point. Myself, I like the new simulator training mod, it's so realistic since most racing drivers got their own sim at home and in the team factory, it's like preparation for them. I first asked DeBiK about it and he promised it so I'm happy with it :D
We gain more track experience on the sim but the private series thing that you're talking about, I see it, the private series thing is just for fun and it shouldn't change a thing, not even with the track experience because it would be unrealistic and so unfakr if we did gain experience on certain tracks because of it. I don't go on private series alot except if it's my nation's own SRC or the U21's something like that. So we must stop it from being effective, the private series is only here for fun on the game, not a way to cheat for drivers to cheat their way to experience, I just realised there's no way out while I'm writing this because if we still drive on the tracks for private series even though it's for fun, he'll be learning a little bit.
So the plan is that we might have to class how our drivers on the game and the rest gain experience on racetracks. (Season Series > Custom Series >> Single Races >>> Private Series), i hope this plan is possible so drivers who know all and the rookies get a fair chance of developing their track memory and the costs to buy the track increases alot as well when we buy more and more. I hope we as managers lose our money for the right reasons.
