MRC F1 World Series - Team Records and Curiosities!



Hello everyone! This weekend's Singapore GP marks a historic moment in the MRC F1 World Series with race #250!

It's time for a quick review of some records and curiosities from MRC Top Series!

RECORDS

- First Champion: Lamborghini OMR

- Championship Winners: Red Bull (5), McLaren (3), Lamborghini OMR (3) and Porsche (1)

- Total points All-Time: Red Bull (5937p), Jordan (4264p) and McLaren (3925p)

- Most Race Wins All-Time: Red Bull (93)

- Most Podium finishes All-Time: Red Bull (226)

- Most Pole Positions All-Time: Red Bull (130)

- Most Points in a Season: Red Bull (625p) in S15

- Least points scored by a Champion: Lamborghini OMR (469p) in S11

- Most Wins in a Season: 11. Red Bull (S15, S16, S17)

- Most Poles in a Season: 18. Red Bull (S14, S17)

CURIOSITIES

- Lamborghini OMR won the first 3 championships and recorded a total of 35 races (4th all-time). But has failed to win a race since S14.

- Lamborghini OMR win in S09 was the only time that teammates finished Top2 in the Championship (Acarini/Botta).

- Jordan has the 2nd most points total but has never won the constructors championship. It has however a driver's title (Novikov).

- Porsche (then Mercedes) won it's only constructor's title in S14 and has total of 39 race wins (3rd All-Time). But it's last win came in S15.

- Porsche is the only team champion that has failed to win a driver's championship.

- McLaren has won the last 3 constructors titles and has finished in the podium for the last 6 seasons. Before that, it had never finished in the top3.

- In S09 every team scored at least a point. It's the only time that has happened.

- In S16 a record 6 teams failed to score points.

- In S13, S19 and S20 just 2 teams managed a pole position. That's the fewest all-time!

- In S21, a record 5 teams have already scored a pole position. That's the most all--time!

- In S18, Red Bull had a record 18 pole positions but finished just 3rd in the championship. It's the only time that the team with most poles in a season failed to win the title.

- In s11, Lamborghini OMR won the title with just 4 wins. It is fewest wins by a champion as both Red Bull (7) and Porsche (6) had more wins.

- 9 teams have never recorded a pole position: WAR, Sempre Senna, Trabant, Ford, Audi, BMW, LKR, Mercedes AMG (formerly Toro Rosso) and Ferrari.

- Ferrari won 2 races in S09. It hasn't won since then.

- Since S18, 4 teams recorded their first race win: Williams (3), Sempre Senna (2), WAR (1) and BMW.

- 5 teams are still chasing their first win: Trabant, LKR, Mercedes AMG, Audi and Ford.

- Lamborghini OMR won the S09 title by 247p over Red Bull. It's still the biggest gap between 1st and 2nd.

- Red Bull won its 1st title in S12 by 14p over Lamborghini OMR. It's still the narrowest margin between the Top2.

- Red Bull recorded consecutive titles in S15, S16 and S17 with 11 wins in each season. It's still the most wins by a team in a season.
